Redmi Note 6 Pro is the latest smartphone from the Chinese manufacturer Xiaomi that's set to launch in the Indian market. It succeeds the Redmi Note 5 Pro, which has been a popular choice in the sub-Segment range of Rs. 15,000 in the country since its launch nine months ago. Xiaomi now faces competition from new models including the Asus ZenFone Max Pro M1, Nokia 6.1 Plus, Motorola One Power, and Honor 8X at around the same price. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro will fight back against these competitors. It shares many of its internals and design elements with the Redmi Note 5 Pro, but also sports a new display 6.26-inch 19:9 full-HD+ display with a notch.

The smartphone will be launched at an event in New Delhi scheduled for November 22, at which
its pricing will be announced. The Redmi Note 6 Pro price in India is expected to be close to that of the Redmi Note 5 Pro, which started at Rs. 14,999 and went up to Rs. 16,999 — though the phone (and two other Xiaomi offerings) got Rs. 1,000 cheaper on Friday. However, given the recent hike in the prices of other Redmi models, the Redmi Note 6 Pro could be priced slightly higher as well.

The new Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro is a mid-range smartphone having a bundle of features that can deliver an all-around performance. It comes with a premium-looking design and the screen is protected by the Corning Gorilla Glass which keeps it scratch-proof. The processor is strong enough to handle any sort of multitasking and high-end gaming. It also has a great battery backup which is very admirable. However, it comes with a hybrid slot which can be a drawback.

So coming to the specs of the new Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro comes with an IPS LCD display having a 6.26-inch screen. It has a screen resolution of 1,080 x 2,280 pixels, along with a pixel density of 403 PPI, which offers a clear and sharp viewing experience.

The Redmi Note 6 Pro is powered by an octa-core (1.8 GHz, Quad-core, Kryo 260 + 1.6 GHz, Quad-core, Kryo 260) processor with Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 chipset, which can deliver a high performance. It has Adreno 509 GPU that delivers smooth graphics and the 3GB RAM also enhances the multitasking of the device to some extent.

Camera and Storage:

The Redmi Note 6 Pro has an impressive pair of primary cameras with 12MP +5MP sensors which promise an awesome photography experience. At the front, there is a setup of a 20MP + 2MP camera that will impress the selfie lovers with the mesmerizing picture quality and also assist for a clear video calling session.

Redmi Note 6 Pro has an ample amount of inbuilt storage with a capacity of 32GB that can keep users' files and data. It has an external memory slot that is expandable up to 256GB via a microSD card.

Battery and Connectivity:

The phone is also packed with a 4,000mAh Li-Polymer battery that can provide immense backup for long hours with a single charge which in today's world is common in this segment of mi smartphones. It has features like 4G VoLTE, wifi 802.11, Mobile Hotspot, Bluetooth, etc. It also has A-GPS which helps to track the location of the device.
